Prior to the summer drill program drilling concentrated on improving the density of drill intercepts for the recently announced MRE to increase the confidence of modelling Lion, particularly within the range of a potential future open pit, and to bring the vast majority of the known deposit as of the end of the winter program (end April 2026) to Drill Indicated category.

The consulting engineering firm engaged for the work has the information needed from the Company but concurrent work loads in multiple projects have delayed staff availability to finalize the MRE.

Mr. Beal brings over 15 years of extensive experience in mining operations, technology commercialization, corporate development, and capital markets. As CEO of NextOre since 2017, he successfully built and scaled a pioneering supplier of bulk mineralogical analysers and sorting equipment using magnetic resonance (MR) technology, originally developed by Australia's CSIRO. Under his leadership, NextOre raised $17.9 million across four capital rounds, grew its market capitalization from $0 to $131 million, and secured operational contracts for analysers and sorting systems across Australia, the Philippines, Chile, Mexico, and Zambia.

TORONTO , May 27, 2026 - Power Metallic Mines Inc . (the "Company" or "Power Metallic" ) (TSXV: PNPN) (OTCBB: PNPNF) (Frankfurt: IVV1) is pleased to announce the expansion of its summer 2026 exploration program at the Nisk Project in Quebec. Building on the recent Muon Tomography program launched on May 13, the Company is deploying three advanced geophysical surveys to accelerate the hunt for deeper high-grade Ni-Cu-PGE mineralization. Power Metallic is planning an Ambient Noise Tomography (ANT) survey on the Nisk Far West target, completing a gravity survey over the Lion area, and completing a superconducting quantum magnetometer SQUIDs survey over the Lion area. These state-of-the-art techniques will sharpen targeting for the Lion Zone extensions and new discoveries across the expanding property, leveraging Power Metallic's significant 2025 land acquisitions.
